Placing an Object

This section describes the basic procedures for placing objects in your models. You can place any ARC+ model as an object, or you can choose predesigned objects from the libraries supplied with ARC+.

For detailed information regarding creating your own objects, see Creating and editing an object. For information on adding objects to the libraries, see Adding objects to libraries.

Before you place an object, its source file must exist on your disk and the model in which you want to place the object must be open on your screen.
