Replacing a Placed Object

Substitute an object by another object that was previously placed in your model. Alternatively, you can use this command to replace an object with itself, i.e. restoring any line attributes of the object that you edited to their original values.

\replc

State the method by which you will identify the object(s) to be replaced:

By indication—to replace a single placed object

By selection group—select the desired placed objects before you use this command

By name—to replace all placed objects in your model that are linked to a given object source file.

Specify the name of a new object in your current directory to replace the old. If you do not wish to replace an object but wish to restore original attributes, press Enter.

If you chose to identify by indication or by name, indicate the object or type the name of the object to be replaced.

The new object is placed with the same position, scale factors, and xyz orientation as the old.
