Assembling Entities into a Placed Object

Convert selected entities into a single placed object.

\asmbl

You can use this command to create a new object source file, or to reverse the effect of the Exploding a placed object to its component entities (\explod) command.

Before you run the command, select the entities that you wish to assemble.

Operation

Specify a file name for the new object source file.

Define a point in your model that will be taken as the origin point (0 0 0) of the new object, or press Enter to use the current origin.

The selected entities are converted to a placed object. The new source file is stored in your current directory.
