Converting Walls and Arcs into Lines
Explode a wall into line entities.
\wxpld
Use this command when you want to edit a specific part of the 2D wall.
Indicate the wall to be converted.
State whether the whole wall or only a segment of it is to be converted.
If only part is to be converted, state how you want to trim the wall:
At right angles to the wall
At any angle
In the case of arcs, a right angular trim means a radial trim,
i.e., at right angles to the tangent at that point or radial through the center of the arc.
Specify two points to define the extremities of the segment, if it is at right angles to the wall or specify four points (to define two lines) if the segment is not at right angles. State whether the ends of the wall are to be closed or not.
The exploded segment looses the properties of a wall. You cannot give the segment height or insert openings into it.
NOTE Although the layers of an exploded wall behave as lines, when you select walls using the Selecting all Walls, Openings or Fill (\mwsel) command, the lines of the wall will also be selected.
