Adding Text to Your Work

Before adding text, display the model in an orthogonal view (plan or elevation).

You can enter a single line of text, a block of several lines or an external ASCII file. Each text entity may contain up to 254 characters including spaces.

The default attributes for text are listed in the table for Setting text attributes (\atext). If you change these defaults, the new settings will be used for any text that you subsequently create.

To edit existing text or change its attributes, see Editing text.
