Assigning Numbers to Entities
Assign sequential numbers to the entities in your model.
\number
Use this command to number or letter items in your model such as rooms. Indicate a location to place the symbol and number or letter: each subsequent click displays a consecutive digit or character with its symbol.
Press Enter to change the default settings—select a symbol (circle, hexagon, pentagon or rhombus) and its color, and fix the Numerator Type as either numbers or letters.
You can add a prefix to the number, and start the numerator from any number or letter, (if you do not wish to begin the count from ‘1’ or ‘A’). Click the text attributes button to set the font and other text attributes.
Numerator symbols that accompany the number or character are taken from the same symbol library that is used for layout grids. To add your own symbols to the library, see Basic Tools, creating layout grid symbols.
