Walls
Walls are two- and three-dimensional entities with special properties. You create a 2D wall, which can then be expanded into a three dimensional model. The three-dimensional wall is basically a solid polygon type entity, which sits over the 2D wall entity.
You can choose a wall from the library provided by the system or define your own and add it to the library. You can group together different types of walls in several libraries.
ARC+ enables you to insert openings such as doors and windows into walls. Openings consist of 2D and 3D entities selected from a library. These openings are described in the next chapter.
The two dimensional base of the wall consists of up to seven layers of any thickness. You can also predefine the method to fill every wall layer with hatches and patterns.
