Render

 

In 2011 Edition a new rendering interface is delivered. The old interface is not available anymore. Rendering is the application materials based on color, texture, transparency, mirroring and Natural lighting effects to surfaces and solids of the model resulting in a photo-realistic/not photorealistic image.

Materials can be applied to the following entities in ARC+:

Polygons

Solids

The material is applied to the entire solid. 

The term rendering, in the following description, applies equally to the application of materials to surfaces and solids.
