Split Frame

Split option will divide the frame where the mouse is located, the direction of split will be orthogonal to the line separator clicked, if the line is vertical the frame will be divided horizontally, if the line is horizontal the frame will be divided vertically.

NOTE: The new frame generated will be in modelling mode plan view.

How to set up split screens

Steps:

Select from the menu bar > New in 2011 > Split Frame.

Now click in the frame you want to split

Press "y" for a horizontal split, press "n" for a vertical

Now press enter

Now you can assign a camera to one particular frame to view your project from a different angle. You can also assign different render settings to the frame.
