Managing Layers Configurations
Layers Configuration is the structure in which the layer groups, their names as well as the names and properties of the layers that they contain, are organized. To these layers configurations, you can add different layer Styles, which save the state of display, snap, and indication properties of each layer.
Saving Layers Configuration
The layers configuration is saved automatically when the ARC+ model is saved. This information is stored in the ADB template file attached to the current model, with the same name. To save different layers configurations, you can simply save the model under different names and delete all the entities that it contains, if you do not want them to be displayed while using this template for creating a new file.
Loading a Layers Configuration
Click on this icon in the Layer Manager. The Open dialog box prompts you to search and indicate the ADB template file to be used for loading a layers configuration.
NOTE: A dialog box asks you to confirm and to specify whether to replace the "Layer styles" of the current model by those present in the selected template file.
Loading Default Layers Configuration
Click on this icon to reload the layers configuration in the system template file corresponding to the current working mode:
For the modeling mode (GEOM), the template file named DEFAULT MODEL.ADB in the ARCUSER system memory of ARC+.
For the DSG mode, the template file named DEFAULT DSG.ADB in the ARCUSER system memory of ARC+.
NOTE: A dialog box asks you to confirm and to specify whether to replace the "Layer styles" of the current model by those present in the selected template file.
