Openings

Openings are doors and windows inserted into walls in ARC+. They have several advanced characteristics that make them a powerful feature of your basic design.

You can choose predesigned openings from the library, or create your own. ARC+ openings are parametric—that is you can set the exact size and determine multiple displays for the opening, dependent upon the scale and projection. Openings possess both 2D and 3D properties.

Once openings are inserted in a wall, you can control the integration of the opening into the wall layers, by using special entities referred to as end conditions.
