Filling Polygons

Fill polygons with color or a predefined hatch.

\fill

Use this feature, for example, when creating a map representing different areas of land usage and for emphasizing parts of your model on the screen while modeling.

The hatch created using this command is not changed when printing at different scales, as opposed to the hatch created using the Hatch (\hatch) command.

You have to create a .prn file to send the filled polygons to your printing department. Contact your printing department to obtain a copy of the printer driver they use. Install the driver on your computer and configure it as the current Windows printer device. In the Print dialog box select Print to file to create a .prn file.

The polygons are filled using the Status toolbar. Refer to the Status Toolbar sub-topic of the first chapter of this guide.
