Filling a Polygon with a Pattern
Fill a polygon with an area fill pattern.
\patrn
Specify the pattern name or press Enter to display the graphic library.
Select the pattern color using the color selector:
You can select from 255 ARC+ colors. Click on the color you want, then on OK to validate it.
Specify a scale factor for the pattern unit (> 1 to enlarge, < 1 to reduce). Indicate two points defining an origin and a direction for the pattern. Indicate the polygon to be filled.
The pattern is created in the model. The origin point and X axis of one repetition of the motif coincide with the origin and direction you indicated.
HINT If redrawing the pattern requires excessive time on your screen, specify a larger scale factor for the pattern. Alternatively, blank the pattern after it is created (see Selection, Blanking/unblanking all nonselected entities, \blnk command).
