Display Modes
ARC+ provides two modes of display designed to maximize your working efficiency:
Modeling mode–for creating and editing your model
Solid viewing mode–for viewing with hidden lines removal, surfaces, sections, light and shade, and/or shadows
When creating your model use the default modeling mode, where all entities are represented by lines. This allows you to edit the model rapidly. When you want to examine the model with one of the solid viewing options, switch to the solid viewing mode.
Before Entering the Solid Viewing Mode
Displaying 2D walls and openings–If you do not want to display these in the solid view, use the Walls, Displaying and hiding walls (\wdisp) command.
Displaying text, dimensions and linear patterns–If you want to hide these entities in the solid mode, use Setting display of text, dim. & linear patterns on or off (\txtonof) command
