Defining a New T-Junction between Walls

Define a T-junction solution between two walls.

\tdef

Indicate the leg of the T.

Indicate the head of the T.

You are asked to define which wall layer of the leg penetrates which layer of the head. It is therefore important to know which layer is layer No 1 of the leg (i.e., the first layer described during the definition of the wall). The system reminds you by highlighting the first layer of the leg with a dotted line. (In case of the head, the layer nearest to the leg is always taken to be layer number one).

Specify the number of the layer of the head up to which each layer of the leg is to penetrate, and state whether it is to join the layer..Confirm by saving the solution in the T-junction library. Specify whether the solution is to be applicable for the current relationship between the leg and the head, i.e., this side, (a single solution) or for both sides (two solutions).

If you confirm the solution, it becomes the default solution.

The junction definitions are stored in arcalib\walls\trules.def.
