Controlling the Dimensions of Fixed Text

To define the text reference scale:

Invoke the command above to control the size of fixed text (including fixed dimension text and fixed linear patterns) before plotting or printing your drawing (see Text, Text size—scaled or fixed).

The default text reference scale is 100 (except in DSG mode, where it is 1).

Operation

Define the text reference scale. To view the fixed text in its original dimensions, the value of the scale must be equal to the current scale of the screen or plot. For example, if the scale of the drawing is 1:50, set the text reference scale at 50.
