Subtracting One Solid from Another
Subtract the volume of one solid entity from another.

Indicate the solid that you wish to sculpt. Indicate the solid to be subtracted from the first. State whether you want to keep the second entity. If you keep the entity, it remains in place as an unchanged independent entity, while sculpting the first entity. If you reply negatively, the second entity is erased.
A new complex solid is created.
If the two solids have no common volume, the first indicated entity would be converted to a complex solid, in any case.
