Splitting a Solid

Section solids along a geometric plane.

\split

The operation of this command is identical to that of Sectioning solids (\secte), except that both parts of the sectioned entity remain as individual entities.

You can split a solid along one of three planes:

Orthogonal

Diagonal

For an orthogonal section, choose the section axis: X, Y or Z. For a diagonal section, establish the diagonal truncation plane by indicating its first and second points. To designate a free plane, indicate three points.

Click points to indicate the first and second parts, and then indicate the solid you want to split.
