Sculpting Solids (Boolean Operations)

The following combined Boolean command enables you to sculpt Solids or Surface Polygons which have an overlapping part.

image\ebx_1712504276.gif IMPORTANT If the two entities exist in different layers and/or are different colors, the result entity will inherit the layer and/or color of the first entity indicated. These operations work on two positive or two negative solids, as well as on 2D surface polygons

Use the \tol command to control the tolerances for Boolean operations. The default is a precision of 0.1 mm. If you have problems with these operations on exceptionally large or small entities, try increasing or decreasing this value respectively. If you still have problems, consult your dealer for use of the advanced settings, to change the system default settings.
