Each placed or clipped drawing on the drawing sheet is framed by a broken line. These frames are not part of the drawing sheet and are not plotted. They are displayed on screen only as an aid to the organization of the sheet.
There are three display modes in the DSG:
Display drawings without frames — to show how the drawing will be plotted
Display frames without drawings — to save redraw time when loading a drawing sheet or when rearranging the frames on the sheet
Display drawings and frames
You may also use this command to display the frames and the contents if they were hidden. Choose to hide the frames or contents or press Enter to display both.
NOTE Updating operations such as rescaling, reframing and replacing will operate even if the contents of a drawing are not displayed.
