In the new pull-down menu: Edition Edit DSG Rotate in Frame
|
NOTE In this command only the drawing is rotated while its frame remains fixed. To rotate the frame together with its contents use the Rotating a drawing frame(\dmrot) command (increments of 90 degrees). If the drawing was unclipped it changes its status to clipped.
Indicate the drawing to be rotated. Specify a point as the center of rotation. This can be any point, even outside the drawing sheet. Specify the angle of rotation (+/- 0-360 degrees).
The drawing is rotated on the XY plane about the Z axis by the specified angle. The frame maintains its original size and position. A frame that was previously unclipped is now indicated as clipped.
Confirm the result.
NOTE A drawing that has been rotated at a non-orthogonal angle may be shifted from its original location if it is later rescaled (keeping the frame).
