Placing the Current Opening

Place the current opening.

If you already set a current opening, indicate the wall and place the opening.

Alternatively, press Enter to change the current opening. If you haven’t set an opening, the system first transfers you to the Setting a current opening (\opset) command.

Before clicking the mouse to fix the position, you can press Alt+1 or Alt+2 to change the symmetry along or through the wall respectively or Alt+8 to switch the origin through four positions.

After placing the opening you can:

Place it again in the same wall — indicate a new position

Place in another wall — indicate the new wall.

Reset the position along the wall - Specify a fixed point in the model and a point on the opening. The distance between the points is displayed. Type the new distance—the opening moves to the new position.
