Manipulating Entities by Dragging

Move or copy an entities to new locations.

Since ARC+ is quite long on the market, several commands have evolved into more smart ones and elder ones are getting obsolete. To help you pick the best choice please find this table below:

Always either make an indication of entityies or select them when no selection has been done.

Specify the from point (origin. According to the actual enclosing box mode the selection will be displayed (\dragmod)

Specify the to point. You can define these points on or independent of an entity. These set the displacement distance between the original selection group and the new location. Some commands will allow you to change the first point even when the selection and move or copy handling is active.

Moving Entities

The entity is moved by the displacement distance.

Copying Entities

The entity is copied by the displacement. You can continue to specify positions for further copies.
