Layer Properties

The icons define the characteristics of layers and layer groups.

Information Icons

The following icons simply inform you about the current properties of a layer. This information cannot be modified directly through Layer Manager:

Groups Only

Use

Layer: contains entities

Layer Group: All the layers in the group are used

Layer: does not contain entities

Layer Group: All the layers in the group are empty

$image\ebx_-1909624161.gif$ Mixed

Some layers in the group are used and some are empty.

You can click on the following icons in the Layer Manager to modify the layer properties that they represent:

Layer: The layer is visible

Layer Group: All the layers in the group are visible

Layer: The layer is invisible

Layer Group: All the layers in the group are invisible

Some layers in the group are visible and some are invisible.

Locking

Layer: The layer is not locked. You can draw on it or modify certain entities

Layer Group: All the layers in the group are unlocked

Layer: The layer is locked and cannot be modified

Layer Group: All the layers in the group are locked

Some layers in the group are locked and some are not

Snap

(Snap)

Layer: Snap is possible on all the entities.

Layer Group: The snap is active on all the layers in the group

Layer: Snap is not possible on entities.

Layer Group: The snap is inactive on all the layers in the group

Snap is active on some layers and inactive on the other.
