Selection
Selection and deselection are basic working tools in ARC+. Before performing many operations in ARC+, such as copying or moving, you must indicate the entity or group of entities on which to perform the operation. This is called selecting an entity, or selection group in the case of several entities or objects.
You can indicate any number of entities and group them together as a selection group. A selected entity or group remains selected and is displayed in red, broken lines until deselected. This enables you to perform consecutive operations on a selected group of entities.
