Using photos or parts of them enable you to give your customer the best possible true environment and the best match possible to present and combine your ideas into the existing real life situation.

The process starts always with making good images of the existing situation. The better your source photo, the better the given result. You can import photos from 46 formats directly into ARC+. By rectifying the perspective distortion as seen by your human eye and photo into a rectified image you reach a lot of goals. This rectified image can be used for:

Exact measurement of real estate and existing buildings on scale.

Insertion of 2D elevations into photo images to show designs.

Remodelling real life products from several photo's when no drawings or models are available yet.

Texture mapping to use as shaders in internal or external render engines.
