Creating a New Selection Group
Select entities to form a new selection group. Since this command first resets the selection group, you can also use it to cancel the selection of the previous group.
\snew
This command clears the previous selection group, returning the entities to their original attributes. You can then select entities to form a new selection group or start another command and leave the selection group empty.
HINT Use this command to ensure that all entities on your drawing are deselected, even those that extend off the screen.
