Creating Predefined Polygon Shapes

The system has several predefined shapes that can be used for creating 2D polygon Surfaces and 3D prisms. The following 2D shapes are available:

Rectangle by 2 points

 \2pbox

Rectangle by 2 Sizes

  \pbox

Square by 2 points

 \2pcub

Square by Size

 \pcube

Hollow Rectangle by 2 points

 \2prhs

Hollow Rectangle by Size

 \prhs

Circl by Point or Radius

 \pcyl

Half Circle by Diameter or Sample

 \hfcyl

Quarter Circle by Radius or Sample

 \qtcyl

Hollow Circle by Point and Thickness

 \rpipe

Hollow Half Circle by Radius and Thicknes or by Sample

 \hpipe

Regular Polygon by including Circle or by Sample

 \npoly

Equilateral Triangle by Size or by Sample, in Horizontal direction

 \equtr

Isosceles Right-Angular Triangle by Size or by Sample, in Horizontal direction

 \isotr

The predefined polygon shapes are created in the current Work Plane (XY or XZ or YZ) , either in Orthogonal view or in 3D views (axo, pers, etc…)

The same commands are used for creating 2D Surface Polygons or 3D Prisms. To obtain the result you wish, chose one of the options from the list displayed on the screen.
