Converting True Type Text to Polygons
Transform True Type fonts to polygons or 3D solids.
\glyph
You can convert the TrueType fonts to 2D polygons or 3D prisms.
Select the text you want to convert. You can either expand it by specifying the height of the text prism, or transform it into a 2D text
polygon.
You could use this command, for example, to create 3D letters on a shop front, or for adding impressive 3D graphic effects to any of your models. When you transform text into 2D text polygons, you can fill the characters with decorative hatches and patterns.
Filling True Type fonts
