Changing Existing Text

Depending on whether you indicate a line or a text block, the system provides the appropriate editing feature.

Updating a Line of Text

If you indicate a line of text in the model, it is displayed in the prompt line for editing. Edit the text and press Enter. Now select whether to update only the indicated text (y) or all identical occurrences of the text in the model (n).

Updating a Text Block

If you indicate a text block, the text block dialog box is displayed.

From the dialog box, you can do the following, after editing the text:

update  

Update the indicated text block only.

update all 

Update a group of text blocks (the same text block that was placed several times).

update att 

Update the attributes of the indicated text block.

reset text 

Undo editing to restore the original indicated text.

create new 

A new text block will be created based on the text of the indicated text block. Edit the text in the dialog box and press OK. Existing text blocks are not affected.
