Using the Mouse

You should be familiar with pointing, clicking and dragging the mouse in your system. The mouse moves the cursor on the current plane. The coordinates of the cursor position and its distance and angle from the last defined point are displayed in the status line at the top of the screen.

You can use the mouse for performing a wide range of ARC+ functions such as selecting commands and options, defining points and indicating entities.

You must use a three button mousewith the central one wheel.

  1. IMPORTANT Do not configure the mouse differently in Windows, this can damage its functioning in ARC+.
