Smart Selection

The intuitive ‘smart selection’ feature automatically filters the model for you. The system permits only those entities, elements or groups of elements that are relevant to the command you are currently using. There are two categories of ‘‘smart selection’:
Filter selection entities–Commands that permit you to select only applicable entities. For example, if you choose the Updating text attributes (\uatxt) command, the system will permit you to indicate text elements only, even if all different entity types are in the same area.
Object-oriented commands–System improvements enable a single command to operate on different types of entities. For example, a fillet operates similarly on a wireframe line, a polygon or wall entities.
