Edit Shader Parameters

The palettes show you four classes of shaders, each consisting of a drop down menu from which a shader can be selected. The combination of shaders selected in this section determines how a surface is rendered using display mode.

Double-clicking on a material icon in the Materials palette invokes the Material Parameters palette.

By default, the standard rendering parameters are shown.

From the Material menu on the left you can switch to a material

When you do, the palette shows the interface items that allow you to further adjust the material parameters as appropriate for the rendering.

Render 2010 > Material Studio > Colour Shader Tab

Under each of the four menus of shaders there is an option menu. In this dialog the parameters of the shader can be set. Each shader has a distinct dialog; however, all dialogs share some common characteristics.
