Zooming the View

One unified command contains all the zooming options.

You can choose from the following viewing options:

Zooming in (\zoom, \zin)

Zooming out(\zout)

Zooming out by fence (\zoomout)

Filling the screen (\fitsc)

A description of each component of the combined command is given below.

Zoom in by Fence

Zoom in to enlarge an area of your display by increasing it from a window:

\zoom

 

Or by a given factor:

\zin

 

 

Choose to zoom an area of the display by:

Fence

Factor

If you zoom by fence, specify two points to define a fence rectangle. The contents of the rectangle are enlarged to fill the screen. If you zoom by a factor, specify a value. The current scale is multiplied by this factor. The location of the screen center point remains fixed. The new scale of the screen is displayed in the scale indicator at the top of the screen.
