The structure of each report is presented below. Each row of the table represents a column in the report, and the information presented in columns is separated by tabs.
Wall Report—*.rp1 (*.dp1)
report element |

Sort attribute |
Reserved attribute name-optional (e.g., Redbrick) |
Count |
No. of wall sections with the same name and attribute
|
Total length |
Of walls with this name and attribute; openings (1) not deducted. Wall length is measured by axis (if any) or by middle
|
Total area |
Of walls with this name and attribute. Area = length * average height. Wall placing sets length measurement- by axis or center or layer
|
Net area |
Total, less openings |
Total area—1st layer |
Area of wall face from side of 1st layer |
Net area—1st layer |
Same as above, less openings |
Total area—last layer |
Area of wall face from side of 1st layer |
Net area—last layer |
Same as above, less openings |
Net volumes of layers 1-n(2) |
Volumes of 1st to last layers of walls with the same name and attribute; openings for those layers deducted(3) |
(1) Both new and old openings are counted.
(2)Wall LAYER volume is calculated by multiplying total wall volume by the actual percentage of that layer in the 2D wall polygon.
(3)Opening volume to be deducted from a layer is calculated by multiplying the volume of the largest negative solid in the opening (or the prismatic volume for simple openings: Xo*Zo*Yw) by the percentage of the layer in the wall definition.

Line Report—*.rp3 (*.dp3)
report element |
description |
Sort attribute |
User-assigned (e.g., PVC.0-100) |
Length |

report element |
description |
Polygon type |
Category from roombook hierarchy (e.g., External wall surface, internal wall surface, roof, floor area, room area, user-placed polygon)
|
Sort attribute |
User-assigned (e.g., Tiles, plaster) |
Area |
Total area of all the polygons with this name |
Net area |
Total area of all the polygons with this name, reduction areas deducted. For room area -- area of room polygon lessreduction areas. For wall area -- less opening areas |
Perimeter |
Total perimeter of polygons of this type, including holes perimeter
|
Holes area |
Total of all reduction areas for this type of polygon |
Holes perimeter |
Total perimeter of all reduction areas for this type of polygon |
Count |
No. of polygons of this type |
Room Report—*.rp5 (*.dp5)

Room area |
Floor area |
Net room area |
Floor area less reduction areas greater than setting |
Room perimeter-total |
Including doors and virtual walls |
Net room perimeter |
Excluding doors and virtual walls |
Opening area |
Sum of room opening areas |
Opening perimeter |
Sum of room opening perimeters |
Room height (min.) |
Min. room height |
Room height (max.) |
Max. room height |
Wall area to be painted |
Sum of all internal walls less openings larger than setting |
Room volume |
Till the ceiling |
Room number |
Optional |
Apartment number |
Optional |
Floor number |
Optional |
Building number |
Optional |
X,Y,Z |

Topology Report—*.rp6 (*.dp6)
report element |
description |
Wall number |
No. of wall. Same wall no. assigned to rows containing wall and opening data for that wall
|
Opening number |
0 - for the wall itself. The openings for that wall are assigned consecutive numbers
|
Name |
ARC+ data base name of wall or opening. 2D name of old open., complete name of new opening (e.g., 11-20 cm., window 1)
|
User attribute |
Value of user-assigned attribute, as found in wall and element reports as well (e.g., Redbrick)
|
P1 (X,Y) |
X,Y coord. (m) of 1st wall pt. (measured from axis if there is one, or from middle if there is no axis, or from 1st layer of wall). For opening—1st point of 2D open. (where wall is cut) |
P2 (X,Y) |
X,Y coord. (m) of 2nd wall pt. (measured from axis, middle or 1st layer of wall). For opening—1st point of 2D opening (where wall is cut) |
