Updating Size of Text and Dimensions

Update the size of text, dimensions, and linear patterns.

In the new pull-down menu:

Edition / Edit

Edit DSG

Update Text/Dim Size

In the old pull-down menu:

DSG

Edit Sheet

Change Text/Dim Size

Specify a factor for each of the following entity types, by which the original size will be multiplied:

Text size

Dimension size

Linear pattern size

You may enter all three factors at the same time, e.g., 1 0 0.5. To reduce the size, use a factor less than 1. To restore the original size, use a factor of 1.

State whether the update is to apply to a single drawing or for the entire drawing sheet. For a single drawing indicate the drawing.

If the whole drawing sheet is to be updated, the screen is redrawn with the text, dimensions and/or linear patterns drawn in their new size.

Therefore, if you have changed the factor for one of the entity types, and you wish to factor another without changing the first, you must use the value 0 for those that are not to be changed. If you use 1, they will be restored to their original size.
