Troubleshooting a File
Check the integrity of a file and fix problematic elements automatically
\qfile
Restoring a File
Specify the file name or press Enter for the current file.
Check the entire file—standard option, or set an inclusion zone. Use the latter option to exclude an area of the model only if you have a model with problematic dimensions.
The entire database of the model is scanned to verify its integrity. At the end of the check, a report is shown on screen, describing any problems..
Fixing the File
To correct problems in a model, choose the fix option. The system then corrects the outstanding problems in the database. The drawing is redrawn on the screen.
If you check the file again, do not be surprised if other problems are listed. The verification of the database during the fix procedure is more rigorous. It is recommended to run the check and fix options twice through.
HINT Use this command to verify the completeness of a dxf file that was imported to ARC+, a file from an earlier version of ARC+ or any file in which a problem in the database is suspected.
