Smoothing the Curvature of Arcs
Set the number of segments with which arcs are displayed and plotted.
When you create arcs, they are stored as true curves in your model. However, the system displays and plots arcs as a series of short line segments. You can smooth the appearance of arcs by setting a larger number of segments. You can increase the speed of the display or plot by setting a smaller number of segments.
\sarc
Specify the desired segment length, the minimum number of segments in each arc (as few as 1), and the maximum number of segments (not more than 500). The number of arc segments is determined on the basis of units of 45 degree angles, thereby enhancing the smoothness of the display.
The change affects the appearance of all arcs in the model whenever the screen is redrawn.
IMPORTANT When creating roofs, use this command to adjust the default arc values to decrease drawing time.
