Setting Screen Scale

Set the scale for screen display of the model.

\scale

Specify the desired scale. If you specify a scale of 100, one centimeter on the screen represents one meter on the model. Choose the point to which you wish to expand or contract the scale:

The current center of the screen

A new center

The origin (0 0 0)

If you choose the origin, specify whether to locate the origin at the lower left or the center of the screen. The display is zoomed and panned to the scale and point that you specify, and the new scale is indicated on the status line.

$image\ebx_1693072387.gif$ NOTE The scale affects the view displayed on the screen only. It does not affect the model in any way that is created in real dimensions. The plotting scale is specified in the Plotting a model (\plot) command).
