Selection by Polygon Fence

Add entities to a selection group by a polygon.

$image\ebx_1693072387.gif$ NOTE Draw a polygon around the entities that you want to select before using this command.

Choose to select or deselect. Define the selection characteristics of the fence.

Inside and crossing

Outside and crossing

Crossing only

Inside only

Outside only

Indicate the polygon that you created to serve as the clipping fence, or press Enter for a rectangular fence. The entities are selected according to the option you chose. Choose to delete or keep the fence.

$image\ebx_1693072387.gif$ NOTE Limitations to this command are that it works only in orthogonal views, and it does not work on openings, placed elements (or placed blocks).
