Selecting by Line Attributes

Select or deselect the entities by their line width or type.

(non-menu commands)

Choose to select or deselect.

Specify a line width or line type by number, sample, or using the dialog box:

All entities with the specified attribute value are added to or removed from the selection group.

Entities added to the selection group are displayed with red broken lines. Entities removed from the selection group return to their normal display.

Certain entity types are selected or deselected in a special way by these commands:

Polygons—according to the attributes of their first edge

Solids—according to the first edge of the first polygon

Walls—according to the attributes of their first layer

The following entity types are not selected or deselected by these commands:

Placed objects—unless their color, line width, or line type has been changed from the original (see Editing & manipulation, Update attributes, \uline command)

Openings in walls (similar to placed objects)

Text
