Selecting by Entity Type
ARC+ differentiates between various entity types. Once you have defined a selection group, you can add or remove entities according to the specific entity types.
\apsel
You can choose from the following selection commands:
By application (\apsel)
By wall name (\mnsel)
By wall (\mwsel)
By object(\osel)
By linear and hatch patterns (\lhsel)
A description of each component of the combined command follows.
Selecting by Application
Choose to select or deselect entities from the selection group.
Specify the option for the desired entity type from the following table. Once you enter the option, you may be prompted to choose from several suboptions that further specify the entity type.
All entities of the entity type that you have chosen are added to or removed from the selection group. Entities included in the selection group are displayed by red broken lines. Entities removed from the selection group return to their original line attributes.
