Scale Image

This command enables you to redefine the scale of an image. This option can be used to scale maps according to a known distance or to adapt a detail from a photo to a facade that you draw in ARC+.

\imgscale

The system asks you to indicate an image to be modified. After you confirm your choice of image, indicate two reference points of the scale to the system (the distance between the points can be easily measured on the image, but it can also be specified elsewhere). The distance between these points will change according to the new distance that you indicate to the system, by numerical value or by two new points.

Indicate an image whose scale is to be redefined.

Confirm the image selection.

Indicate a first point on the image from which you will measure the sample distance.

Indicate the second point of the sample distance.

Select the method of distance specification: "Manually" (by numerical value) or "By two points" (vectorial sample distance).

Indicate a target value according to which the image will be rescaled. The sample distance expands or shrinks according to the indicated target distance.
