Indicating Text Entities

A text entity has an invisible baseline, located under the text characters. To indicate a text entity, you must point to the text near its baseline.

You can use the Displaying baselines (\txtul) command to help you indicate the text.

$image\ebx_1693072387.gif$ NOTE Linear patterns also have invisible baselines. The baseline of a dimension entity is the dimension line itself, which is displayed on the screen.
