Copying Openings
Select a sample opening and copy one or more times to any wall.
\opcopy
Indicate the opening to be copied.
Indicate the wall in which to place the opening.
One copy
Drag the opening to the required position and click. You can change the symmetry and the origin, using the Alt keys, as in the Placing the current opening (\oplace) command.
You can continue to place the same opening at other positions in the same wall or other walls or set a displacement.
Multiple copies
Insert an opening and then automatically place any number of copies at the same relative distance. Indicate a from point and to point. The from point defines the origin point of the first placed opening. The distance to the to point defines the displacement between the origin point of the first and subsequent copies. You do not have indicate a displacement along the wall you are placing the openings. Indicate any two points. These points are automatically projected to the wall you indicated.
If you have chosen to place a number of openings that extend beyond the length of the wall, ARC+ automatically eliminates the extra openings.
You can change the symmetry and the origin, using the Alt keys, as in the Placing the current opening (\oplace) command.
NOTE The opening combination is copied in its entirety, including end conditions, if attached and height above floor. These can be updated as required. See Placing and replacing end conditions.
IMPORTANT The opening width is automatically updated to match the wall width into which it is placed.
