Change the alignment of existing walls
\ualgn
During their creation, walls are aligned along guide lines that connect the previous point and the current cursor position. This alignment remains as an attribute of the wall and is an important reference when moving or replacing walls. While creating the wall you may change the alignment of the wall about this line by pressing Alt+2. There are four alignment options:
the axis (if an axis has been defined)
the first line of wall
the last line of wall
the center of the wall
Use this command to change the alignment of an existing wall.
NOTE This operation changes the alignment within the wall without moving it.
In order to identify the current alignment and avoid mistakes use the Highlighting the first layer, axes and open wall ends (\hilit) command first. This command operates on:
A single wall
A selected group of walls (selected before entering this command)
All walls.
Specify the alignment that you require. The options are as follows:
First line layer
Center
Last line layer
Opposite
Axis
If you choose to move a single wall, indicate the wall to be moved.
The opposite option switches between the first and last wall line layers, i.e., if the axis is currently aligned with the first line layer of the wall it is realigned to the last line layer. If it is currently aligned on the center or on the axis, no change is made.
If you are changing the alignment of a single wall, indicate the wall.
