Autosave Feature
While you are working on a model that has a name, the four files composing it (III, DDD, ICN and ADB) are duplicated and named with an extension BAK after a regular interval. You can set this interval with following command:
\autosave
Enter the interval (in minutes) between every Autosave.
IMPORTANT : When you work on a new file without any name ("New file"), the system cannot Autosave and prompts you, on regular interval, to save your file.
When the model is saved or closed correctly, these four files are deleted automatically.
Otherwise (unexpected closing of the software), the files are not deleted and when you try to recover the model subsequently, the system shows an Autosave file and asks you whether you want to open that instead of the original model.
If you choose to open the Autosave copy, it is loaded and a dialogue box asks you to save this file under a different name: You can then replace immediately the original model.
If you wish to check the recovered file first, press ESC to close the dialogue box. You then work in a file without name (New file).
