Setting Line Attributes


Set the active line type, color and width.

HINT It is often easier and quicker to set the line attributes using the status toolbar. (see page 2-25)
The \aline command can be given in various ways. The options of attribute settings vary as per the method you select:
By clicking on the  icon or entering in the command line, you can access the complete list of options:

LINE TYPE
Select the required line types using the LineTypes dialog box or type the number of the required line type.


LINE COLOR
Select the line color using the color selector:

You can select from 255 ARC+ colors. Click on the color you want, then on OK to select it.
NOTE: If you use the [Ctrl+1] hotkey, you can directly access the color selector.

LINE WIDTH
Select Fine or Thick in the sub-menu or type the number of the required line width.
ALL ATTRIBUTES
Set the above parameters one by one.
RESTORE DEFAULT ATTRIBUTES
Restore the line color, type and width to their default values.
BY SAMPLE
Mark a sample entity that has the required attributes. The attributes of the current line, color, type and width are replaced by the attributes of the sample.
DIALOG BOX
Open the line attributes dialog box. (Described in the next page)
By double clicking on the  icon, the "Line Attributes" dialog box appears:


LINE TYPE  
Select the required line type from the pull-down list. All line types available for your model are given here.
LINE WIDTH
Toggle between the two available widths (0.1 mm and 0.5 mm). Using the pull-down list.
NOTE: The line widths 0.1 and 0.5 are virtual widths only for screen display. The thickness of printing pens can be configured in the "Print Parameters" dialog box (see page 20-2)

LINE COLOR
Click on the colored rectangle to open the color selector: You can select from 255 ARC+ colors. Click on the color you want, then on OK to validate it.
