Quick Creation – Rectangle


Create a rectangle using opposite angles or by defining the length and width.


Creating a Line Rectangle by Two Opposite Points


Creates a rectangle by selecting two opposite points.

Select a first point. Then drag the elastic rectangle (in orthogonal view) or guide line (in other views) using the mouse and select a point in the diagonally opposite corner.


A rectangle consisting of four lines parallel to the current plane is created. Each line of the rectangle is a separate wire entity.
Creating a Wireframe Rectangle by Length and Width


Creates a rectangle by defining its length and width.

NOTE This command operates only on the xy plane.
