Manipulating Entities by Symmetry
Move or copy the selection group by reflection into its mirror image.
\mirror
This command is aimed to be used in 2D XY plane to work as fast as possible. When there is no selectiongroup you will be prompted automatically to select entities. Then enter two points giving the axis as mirror line. Finally choose to either copy or move the selection.
\mcsym
This command is aimed to be used in all planes in 3D. Specify if the reflection is to be along one of the major axes (X,Y,Z), about a free axis, or through a free plane:
major axis (X,Y,Z) Define the axis and specify the point of reflection (through point).
free axis Specify two points defining the axis.
free plane Specify three points that define the plane of symmetry.
Moving Entities
The selection group is translated into its mirror image. You can confirm or reject the result and continue.
Copying Entities
The selection group is copied and translated into its mirror image.
